December Book Haul

So for Christmas I pretty much only got vouchers for Christmas meaning that they all went on books so it took some time for them to arrive. I still have a whole batch to arrive but it’s probably best to split it. I am not much of a book collector but since I’m moving onto different books I thought this would be a good time to get some of my favourite books and series.

Batman; the Dark Knight by David Finch

I also picked up a couple of Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett but these are much later in the series and I’ve jsut finished the first book but I didn’t realise until I got home.

Did you get any good books for Christmas?

    • I really love the Throne of Glass series. I had some massive issue with Empire of Storms but I’m looking forward to the last book and to see how things finish out.

      • I’m ashamed to say I haven’t finished EoS yet but the thing is, I felt the series kind of went downhill from Heir of Fire onwards… Maybe it’s just me since most people say the opposite!
But yeah, I definitely want to finish it 🙂

    • I prefer the new UK covers but I found these on a really good offer and really like the spines.

In regards to the walking dead comics; I love the comics but hate the TV show. It’s such a long series and I know that a lot of people complain about how circular it becomes but I enjoy reading it. I would recommend the Chew series way more to anyone; it’s so much better in terms of indie comics. I do appreciate the Walking Dead series for putting Indie comics into the main stream but there are much better comics out there

      • Thanks 😀 I’m checking out Chew, and adding it to my Wish List 😀 The Walking Dead tv show was just ok in my opinion. I wish it was great, because I love zombie and survival stuff.
